Peanut Butter + Chocolate is one of my very favorite combinations. Ever.
{Chocolate + Mint is a close second}.
Last night I held a presidency meeting at my house which was the perfect excuse to make something SWEET to serve. I turned to....my Pinterest 'RECIPES TO TRY' board and stumbled upon this DEE-LISH recipe from The Girl Who Ate Everything. {That blog bytheway... is pure yumminess!}.
Enjoy!!!

by Greta White
1 (18.25) package plain yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2) Combine cake mix, melted butter, peanut butter, and eggs in a large bowl using a mixer or spoon. Press this into a 9X13 pan reserving 1 1/2 cup of the mixture to crumble on top.
5) Bake for 20-25 minutes. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
* Note: I used a slightly smaller pan than the 9x13. It turned out perfect!
I am soooo making these when we go back to our house (we're at Grammy's for General Conference). YUM!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my, your bars look so good. I love the peanut butter and chocolate together.
ReplyDeleteYou say to add coconut in the recipe but its not listed in ingredients, or how much?
ReplyDeleteNope no coconut in these! Xoxo
DeleteHow can you tell when they are done?
ReplyDeleteThey get like a golden brown on the top!
