This Weekend:

* Friday we went to our weekly summer movies....
Image
My kids LOVE this movie for some strange reason.
It's cute...but definitely odd.

Afterwards we loaded up the kiddos + some of our favorite friends and headed out to celebrate NATIONAL DONUT DAY.

Fractured Prune - - you NEVER disappoint.
{Yup - that's 2 weekends in a row.}

* Date night was close to home Friday night - -
we ate HERE.

Fresh chopped basil on ANYTHING is my favorite!

Local Peeps: Did you know that the Basha's grocery store on Power and Chandler Heights serves handscooped ice-cream at their deli?

Well they do and we tried it out on Friday night for dessert.
{We're so classy, I know}.

Their double scoops are just $1.50!!!
Take that Baskins.
We'll be taking our kids back for Family night soon!

* Saturday we woke up to the sound of rain.
RAIN!!!

It's been years and years and years since AZ has gotten ANY rain during the month of June.  It's a pretty big deal.

We grocery shopped, got chores done and I whipped up some Father's Day key charms.

The sun came out and the kids played with friends.

London's facial expressions are priceless, right?
Pure. Joy.

I tried a new recipe Saturday night...

Picky Palate never seems to disappoint.
My family LOVED it!
{Side note: When it says to add 1 TBS of a spice in this recipe - - make it just 1 Tsp.}

* Churchey-church on Sunday.
We sang THIS song in Sacrament and my heart about burst out of my body.
I LOVE this song.
I also LOVE THIS version.

* Nap afterwards.
It's pretty much the ONLY good thing about having
8:30 AM church.

* Family dinner at Joe's parents house Sunday night.

How cute is this little playhouse that my mother-in-law had custom made for the grandkids? They LOVE it!

HAPPY SUNDAY!

  1. Testimony On How My Life was Transform through the help of a God-sent Lender!!!!

    Hello everyone, I am Kathie Roper by name, am writing this Testimony because am really grateful for what Mason Diego did for me and my family, when I thought there was no hope he came and make my family feel alive again by lending us loan at a very low interest rate of 2%. Well I have been searching for a loan to settle my debts for the past three months all I met scammed and took my money until I finally met a God sent Lender. I never thought that there are still genuine loan lenders on the internet but to my greatest surprise i got my loan without wasting much time so if you are out there looking for a loan of any amount i would advise you to email Mr Diego via email: { diegoloancompany@yahoo.com } and be free of internet scams. thanks... Kathie Roper from California, USA.
