Cornflake Cookies.

It's a cookie making day today.
It has poured down rain here the ENTIRE day.

I love me some rain but I'm not sure I could handle more than a couple straight days of it.  I'm not sure how you Pacific Northwest people do it! I need my SUNSHINE!

These cookies are a family favorite.
They're actually my husband's VERY favorite kind to make.
And when HE can make something - - - instead of ME making something - - - they instantly become MY favorite too!

Try em with a glass of milk and you'll be in heaven.
I promise.

Joe's Cornflake Cookies

1 cup quick-cooking oatmeal
4 cups flour
1 Tbs. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 325 Degrees.

Cream butter, sugars, vanilla and egg

Place on cookie sheet and flatten
slightly with a fork dipped in water.

  1. Easy and delicious... my kind of cookie! Thanks for sharing.

  2. So no regular white sugar? Just brown? Sounds delicious!
