Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe.

As promised - - I'm sharing my sister's yummy recipe today for CREAMY CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP.

It is the PERFECT comfort food for cold days and it's
oh so easy to whip up.

Tori's Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup

In a pot combine:

2 Tbs. chicken bouillon
2 cups chicken broth
2 cup celery
2 cups chopped carrots
1/2 onion

Simmer until veggies are cooked.

Add to the pot:

2 cans of cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup milk

Mix it in and let it bubble until thick.

Add cooked noodles {any kind - I used shells because that's what I had on hand}.

Add 2 cups cooked chicken.

If soup is too thick - - add more broth.

* I think some peas or corn would be super delish to add as well!

This Weekend:

London had a sick bug.
Poor thing was miserable.
Thank goodness she had Cubby to keep her warm.
{Seriously...what did we ever do without Cubby?}

I worked on orders up in my craft room for most of the day.

And London perked right on up come afternoon time when her 3rd grade teacher {best ever!} sent home some chocolate cherries for her {her FAVORITE!}

* We all stayed in on Friday night.

I made homemade creamy chicken noodle soup
{recipe coming tomorrow!}
and Joe and I watched Dateline.

It was pretty much a perfect evening.

* Saturday the kids had dance rehearsals.

We met up with my cute mom at the McDs for a beverage...

And then Saturday night I attended a super fun and festive White Elephant Gift exchange party with some of my dearest friends....

The host served Sonoran hotdogs {YUM!} and can you even believe how BIG these dogs were...???

I made it home with some of Joycee's 'Crack Corn'... I sorta feel like I was the REAL WINNER of the night!

* Churchey-church on Sunday.
Our Sacrament meeting was on CHARITY and I just LOVE the quote that was printed on our programs...

Such good words to live by, don'tcha think?

* Sunday afternoon nap.

* We piled in the car on Sunday night and did a round of deliveries with some of our neighbor gifts

This little tra-dish is SO much fun for us and I love that we can do it all month long leading up to Christmas!

Fun Finds Friday.

It's back!
But someone please slow down time so I have MORE time to shop this holiday season.

Over at Target...

Aren't these canvas state bags so cute?
Would be fun to fill up and give to someone from this state OR someone who is moving here!!

I'm not so sure I could convince my boys to wear this BUT....
these suit jackets are in the boys section at Target if your son is feeling super festive.

$1 - - so cute on top of a present.

Over at Hobby Lobby...

I fell in love with this plush nativity set.
Isn't it the cutest for kids?!?
$25 on sale.

At the Dollar Tree...

I wish I was throwing a Nutcracker themed party this Christmas season just so I could give these mini Nutcrackers away as favors.

These plastic cups are my FAVE!!!!!
They only have the size that is just smaller than 32 ounces but  - - if it gets you to drink water like me - - it's a win!

I also feel like they need this on a tumbler with a straw - - would be oh so perfect for my Diet Dr. Pepper.
{Found at Hobby Lobby}.

I cannot WAIT to have some extra time to binge watch this.
Sooooooo excited!

Coombs Christmas Neighbor Gifts 2017

 I love December for SO MANY REASONS but the activity of delivering our friends and neighbor gifts to the loved ones around us is definitely at the top!

I've come up with TWO different ideas for this year to choose from.  From now until Christmas we'll pick a few different evenings, pile up in the car, crank on the Christmas tunes and drop these goodies by people's houses.

It makes me HAPPY to be able to do this with my family.

For my first set of tags...all you'll need are some ORANGES!

Raise your hand if Santa ever put an orange in the toe of your stocking when you were growing up??

Oranges remind me of CHRISTMAS!

I found these darling polka dot boxes at Hobby Lobby.
They're 50% off which makes them only....

I also spied some darlkng polka dot muslin bags at JoAnns a few weeks ago...

I bought all 8 that they had and I don't feel about it either.

With their 60% off sale they were only $1.50!

And here's the great thing - - if you don't have to get fancy...just deliver your oranges IN THE BAG THAT THEY CAME IN!!!!

The tag + a cute ribbon will make it look AOK!

Now a few tips:

Cuties Clementines are great for this gift too and they generally go on sale for super cheap this time of year.
And who doesn't love a Cutie?

If you live in AZ or any other state that grows oranges - - your best place to buy oranges is at an orange stand on the side of the road.  Locals: Val Vista & Chandler Heights has two FABULOUS stands.  You can get 2 big bags for only $5.

Sadly, the orange tree in my backyard isn't quite ripe enough, yet.

To download my ORANGE tags go HERE.

Upon purchase, I customize them with YOUR family name and you can print them out however many times you need!

My second set of tags calls for a loaf of bread...

And if you're like me and are deathly scared of making bread {I have no idea why!} can pick up your favorite loaf from your favorite bakery!

I might be ambitious though and maybe try THIS recipe for 1 hour bread.  I THINK might be able to handle it.

I also plan to make up a bunch of mini pumpkin chocolate chip bread loaves and deliver those as well.

To download my BREAD tags go HERE.

Again, upon purchase, I can add YOUR family name and you can print them out however many times you need!

Happy Gift Giving!!!

Light the World Printable.

I LOVE the new
initiative that is going on right now all across the world.

So much GOOD can come from it and guess what? You don't even have to be 'Mormon' to do it! It's for EVERYONE!!

I've created a little tag that goes perfectly along with a candle!

A candle! That's it.

Young womens gifts
Primary gifts
Sunday School gifts
Visiting Teaching gifts
Neighbor gifts

The list goes on...

All of the candles pictured were found at the Dollar store!
This makes a SUPER inexpensive gift!

Tie a ribbon around em and Wa-LaH!

This solar powered candle is my FAVORITE!
Wouldn't these be so fun to pass out and have people put in their windows as a reminder to....

You can download my tags HERE.
There are 2 per page and by purchasing these you can print them off however many times you need!

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Matthew 5:14-15

This Weekend:

* Friday morning I took Cubby to the Vet for a check-up.
Can you believe that he's already ONE YEAR OLD!

My top 3 FAVE things about Cubby:

1.  His fanned out tail that looks like it belongs at show in Vegas

2.  His stubby legs

3.  His long body

Gosh, I love this dog.
And who would have thought?
My kids had to BEG me to get one.
{Joe was always on their side😜}

* Ran a few errands afterwards which included a stop at Sodalicious.

I might be a little too giddy with the fact that their CHOCOLATE CRINKLE COOKIE with PEPPERMINT CREAM CHEESE frosting is back!

*Headed back home and finished up my

{Make sure to download yours for FREE now!}

* Friday night was our ward Christmas party.
It was outside at a ranch right by our house and we were taken on a hayride all throughout the neighborhood.

So fun!
We are so blessed to be surrounded by such good people.

My 'selfie' game was STRUGGLING on said hayride.
Let's be honest's always struggling.

* Saturday I met up with a dear friend at the movies to see:

Will Ferrell = my all-time FAVE!
The movie was cute.
Silly....and super predictable.
But cute.

Not his best movie - - but good, nonetheless.

* Afterwards, I met up with Joe for a little Saturday afternoon date!

Lunch at Floridino's
{one of our FAVORITE places in Chandler to eat!}

Their pizza cookie is what DREAMS ARE MADE OF!

* Saturday night, Joe and my brother took the kiddies to the downtown Chandler electical LIGHT parade while I stayed home and cranked out more Etsy orders.

So grateful for all of the support I have received with this little side biz of mine!

* No churchey-church for me on Sunday.
Poor Grant woke up sick with a fever.

We kicked it at home and I started addressing my Christmas Cards.  Am I the only one who actually enjoys doing this?

I LOVE going thru all of the names of loved ones near and far that we get to hear from this time of year.

Getting the mail in the month of December IS THE BEST!

* Dinner over at some of our favorite friends' house on Sunday night.

I whipped up some BUTT rolls and my friend made my favorite - - POT ROAST!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Lots on tap for this week:

* Check back here later tonight for my NEW Light the World Printables!

* Sharing my 2017 Christmas Neighbor Gifts TOMORROW!

* Also will be sharing one of my favorite salad recipes to make this time of year, later this week, as well as a....FUN FINDS FRIDAY!
