Fun Find Friday.

Happy Friday!

It's Friday night, Joe is at Circle K grabbing us some sodas {and donuts, duh} and we are getting ready to settle down with a couple of NEW episodes of Dateline and 20/20.

Are we so romantic or what?

As for my FINDS this week...

Super cute signs at Target.
These would be perfect propped up on the outside of your front door.

Love these baking bread pans for pumpkin bread!
They make the cutest little treats for neighbors.

Over at Wal-mart...

I have a 'thing' for vintage-y Halloween figurines.
I just LOVE them.
I might have to add these three to my collection soon.

I did give in and buy the cute Welcome sign for my lamp light outside.  I had such hard time deciding between that one and the buffalo check one.

Alert! If you head to Panda Express anytime soon....try their new sweet honey sesame chicken.

SOOOOOOO delish!

And speaking about deliciously good carbs....

Disneyland now has a Donut Cart, SAY WHAT?!?!?
You know I'll have a full review on this for you next week!

September is almost over....have you ministered to anyone in need yet?

My September tags are FREE to download HERE.

Joe and I DIED at this!

Recipes // Meal Prep to Try!

I've sorta been killing it with trying NEW recipes this week.

Usually, I find myself in a recipe funk....making the same ole' same ole' each night for dinner.

In an attempt to become more organized and ready and prepared {ha! will this seriously EVER happen?} I've decided to start TRYING the recipies that I save on Facebook and Pin on Pinterest.  Such an idea, right? 😂

Anyways....I'm sharing with you today the ones that were a HIT this week with my family!!

from Eazy Peazy Meals

{I may have referred to this one, after it was made, as 'Bomb A*& Chicken'.  Try it and you'll see why.}

For my veggies I used...petite carrots, green beans, red potatoes and zuchinni.

The recipe says to cook this for 30 minutes at 400 Degrees but I don't like my veggies crunchy and they clearly weren't done yet so I ended up cooking my pan for 50 minutes and it turned out perfectly!

{This one would also be good to make up ahead and divide out into contatiners for week day lunches.}

From Tasty

This one has been a good one to have on hand in the refrigerator for a sweet snack.

{Lasts up to 5 days in the fridge or can be frozen}.

I heat mine up for about 30 seconds before eating it.

Another option - - would be to heat it up in a bowl and add some milk and eat it like oatmeal.

* * * These muffins have a slightly different texture.  I'm sure not everyone will love them BUT...I love pumpkin + chocolate anything and they curved my sweet tooth perfectly so I didn't mind. * * *

Scrambled Egg Cups

These were a GINORMOUS hit with my family.  I'll be making more for sure.  The possibilites with this one are basically just throw in whatever you like.

The way I made them....

I just did 12 eggs, mixed em in a bowl with some milk. Greased my muffin pan. I put turkey sausage on the bottom and then some chopped green peppers and onions, then some shredded cheese, and then the egg mixture. Bake at 350 Degrees for 22-25 minutes. So good! I'm going to try em with crumbled bacon next.

Make sure and grease your muffin pan EXTRA well!

Lastly...I have yet to try a Pillsbury recipe and not LOVE it...

Image in point these....

 These are easy AND delicious!

I even made some for my child who loathes mashed potatoes {but LOVES baked potatoes? go figure!} with just the meat mixture.

I also added shredded cheese on the tops of my mashed potatoes and I just used a cookie scoop to add a scoop to the top of each cup.

I hope you love all these recipes as much as we did.

I'm all about the 'tried and true' recipes.

What are YOUR go-to YUMMY recipes that you use on the regular??  I'd love to hear!

This Weekend:

* Friday morning I had my all time favorite breakfast...

...followed by errands and a quick stop at TJ Maxx.

SUPER giddy because I found Cubby some Rae Dunn dog dishes.  Aren't they adorable??

* Back at home I meal planned for this week... grocery shopped online.

I have a love/hate relationship with online grocery shopping.

LOVE that it's easy and convenient and that I don't feel like I spend hours walking around aimlessy in the aisles.

HATE: having other people pick my produce and meat, not being able to SEE things in person....and lastly, their substitions are not something I would normally pick.

Also....I ordered 8 apples and 1 onion.
Somehow I ended up with 8 onions and 1 apple.

{Side note: If I still had littles at home during the day I would so be ALL about this.}

* Whipped up some pumpkin chocolate chip bread before the kids got home from school.

Dressed 'em up all fall-ish so we could deliver them to a few different families on Friday night.

* The boys had tumbling again on Friday night so we grabbed a bite next door at Blue 32 - hands down one of our local faves.

We just so happened to run into Joe's cousin so we all squished into one booth and had fun chatting.
{Kami - we were wishing you were there!}

* Saturday was filled with birthday parties.

The kids played on this ginormous slide for about 5 hours straight.

Meanwhile, back at home...I tried my hand at meal prepping a few things for the week.  I'm trying {being the key word} to get more organized and make things lots simpler during the week for us.

These egg muffins were a HUGE hit.
I had hoped they'd last thru Wednesday {think of these as a quick breakfast and go!} but they were gone by Sunday night. Guess I'll be making some more.

* Churchey-church on Sunday.
We had fun friends over for Sunday dinner: roast beef, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots and butt rolls.  My friend made the most delicious Toll House Cookie Pie for dessert.

We.  Were.  Stuffed.

* * * * * * * * * * *
This is my kids' last week of school before a 2.5 week FALL BREAK!!! We are READY!!!!
Lots of fun on the horizon and we can't wait!

NEW! 12 Days of Christmas Printables!!

I know, I know, it's not even October yet BUT...I have already been getting requests for my 12 Days of Christmas printables and GOOD NEWS!!!!

I have created a BRAND NEW SET which is up in my Etsy shop today!!!!

Hands down, my most popular blog posts AND Etsy sellers are my 12 Days of Christmas tags for teachers.

If you're new to my blog...
each year around Christmastime, I like to SPOIL my kiddos teachers by having my children {this year - just London! She's my last to be in elementary school...cue tears!} bring in a little treat for them each day.

We started this little tra-dish back when Grant was in Kindergarten {he's in 8th grade now!!!} and it's just sort of stuck!!

I must totally warms my heart to know that each year....tons and tons of hard-working teachers are being spoiled by this same tradition!!!!

So to grab the PRINTABLES for my NEW 12 Days SET go HERE!!

Another set HERE

And another set HERE!

In total, there are THREE different sets to choose from!! Check out my listing for ALL of the details....
it's never too early to start thinking about Christmas!!

2fer Tuesday.

Who knew there was such a thing as
 'Ice-Cream Treats for Dogs'???

Not me...
Which is why I picked up a box when I was at the store earlier today looking for ice-cream for my friend.

You can see how Cubby reacted to em if you follow me on my IG Stories...

Spoiler alert - - I wouldn't recommend them. 😅

Yes, Yes and YES!!!!

Polka Dots and Stripes! My fave.

LOVE these pumpkin candlesticks!

SUPER cute, right??

Also - who else hates it when your local Wal-mart or Target or grocery store changes around their ENTIRE store so that you can't find ANYTHING!?!?

I know I'm getting old {and this is totally something I can hear my grandpa complaining about} but....this happened to me yesterday at my Wal-mart and it TOTALLY bugged.

Rant.  Over.

This Weekend:

* Friday morning started off with breakfast at The Farmhouse with one of my very favorite people on the planet!
Bacon, egg and cheese scramble
Their Diet Coke's are ginormous!

I used to BABY-SIT! for Chris' cute girls back in the day.
Now...her girls are all grown up {one lives here in AZ!} and it makes me feel oh so old!

* Afterwards, I headed over to London's school to do the bulletin board for her classroom. Her teacher told me she wanted me to hang up their Art Masterpiece work and so this is what I came up with...

I seriously have a weird ob-sesh with how much I LOVE doing these!!

Lunch in the {smelly} cafeteria with London and her friend afterwards...

Seriously though...why are elementary school cafeterias SO dang stinky?

* I made a peach cobbler Friday afternoon with FRESH Utah peaches that my mom gave to me...

I tend to lay the topping on extra thick because I love it so.
I also add cinnamon to my peaches, after adding the sugar.

*The boys had tumbling on Friday night and so Joe and I took London and her sweet cousin out to dinner at Moreno's.

* Saturday morning chores followed by a little ice-cold refreshment at Bahama Bucks.
{It was 111 degrees over the weekend!!!!}

One of these kids had a brain freeze while I was taking this pic.  Can you tell who?

* Saturday night we picked up my parents and headed down to Tucson to watch my alma mater SUU play football against U of A.

We stopped for dinner at El Charro...

...which was just meh.
We had high hopes for this place since it was the 'home of the original chimichanga' but we all ended up thinking it was just o...k.

We had SO MUCH FUN at this game....even though our team got C-R-E-A-M-E-D!

We will ALWAYS route for our T-birds!!
Especially when they're up against the Wild Cats who we LOATHE! {My husband and boys are Sun Devil fan!!}

Our lifelong friend Shon hooked us up with the tickets and we couldn't have been more grateful! It was SO fun to see him.

{Also - check the girl in the glasses next to London.  We have NO idea who she is 😂 Best.  Photobomb.  Ever.}

My years at SUU were some of the best!

* Churchey-church on Sunday.

I had a Stake Womens Conference committee meeting at our house on Sunday night.

You guys!
I am SO very excited about this event.

It is going to be so fantastic!!
I have THE BEST group of women working together to make this night a success and I could not be more thrilled.
