Fun Finds Friday (on Saturday.}

Happy Saturday!
I had such good intentions of posting this yesterday and before I knew it, it was 10:30 at night and I was sitting on the couch with Joe watching Stephen Colbert.
{He's so dang funny!}

That's pretty much how my life goes.
Time just seems to always get the best of me lately.

Anyhoo - - happy weekend!!
It's been awhile since I wandered aimlessly through Target and to say it felt great is an understatement!!

Lots of cute Easter-y stuff in their $ bins!

If you're hosting an Easter brunch or dinner, you're gonna wanna snag these fast!

Spotted this cute little shiplap wooden banner...

What's that you say?
You need a fart machine??

The $ bins have gotcha covered!

Seriously guys!
These would make GREAT Easter basket fillers!

Why am I so in love with these mint green milk glass-esque cake stands in the Chip and JoAnna Gaines section?

Over at Michaels I spotted the cutest little Easter table runner...

And then at the $ Tree...

I found these darling little owl shaped soap dispensers.
These would make fun favors or something for an OWL themed party.

Bacon Pasta Salad Recipe.

BBQ season is upon us and chances are, you're going to need a yummy side to bring to at least one of those BBQs this spring/summer.

Look no further.

This just recently became a family favorite.

It's easy, delicious and you can make it up the day before if needed!

2fer Tuesday.

These sorta reminded me of the flavor of chips at Chiptole.

Two thumbs WAY down!
Some candybars should not be messed with.

{Both found on Pinterest}

It's in the 80s here today and it feels so much like Spring!
Please last this way forever, Arizona!!!

This Weekend:

* Friday the kids and I went to the movies to see...

It was just ok.

{There have seriously been NO good movies out lately, am I right?}

* Friday night Joe and I went out on a little date night.
I've been craving NYPD Pizza's garlic cheese knots...

We took one bite and just knew something was wrong with them.  {When they are made right they are oh so yummy!}

We had them make us another batch {we are sooo not those type of people} and the next batch was just as bad as the first.  Not sure if it was the cheese? Or the dough?

We settled for wings and a salad and it just seemed so-so as well, so we splurged on dessert next door and filled our appetites with...

Crumbl Cookies!
Can't go wrong.
The real star of the evening was their 'Muddy Buddy' cookie.

* We watched 20/20 when we got home.

Oh my gosh! Please tell me you saw this too!!!!!
It was such a sad, twisted and bizarre story and I can't even believe this lady is up for parole next year!!!!

* Saturday morning I dropped the boys off at a charity event that they were performing at...

While the rest of us headed to our sweet niece's baptism.

It was such a special day.
Baptisms ALWAYS make me tear up.
Same with when I'm in the temple.
And when people get married.
There's just something SO sweet and pure about it all.

* We had lunch with family afterwards and then came home and took a fat nap.  It was just what I've been needing lately.

London and I snuck out for a little treat on Saturday night.

Bahama Bucks is such a HIT or MISS with me.
Saturday was a MISS.
Tooooooo sweet!
And I think it needs to be at least 20 degrees warmer for me to fully enjoy one of these.

{My kids on the other hand could eat these all day every day!}

* Churchey-church on Sunday.

We had some fun friends over Sunday night for dinner.

We grilled chicken with a homemade marinade that I forgot that I loved and it was YUMMY!

{Don't you just love it when you re-find a good recipe?}

I do hope you enjoy it as much as we did....

{Also yummy? The orange blossoms in the background of the above pic.  I wish EVERYONE could smell how good our backyard smells right now.  Orange blossoms are my absolute FAVORITE!}

Garlic Rosemary Chicken Marinade

1/3 cup finely chopped rosemary
1/3 cup white grape juice
1/3 cup olive oil
3/4 tsp. black pepper
2-3 garlic cloves, pressed
1 1/2 Tbs. diced green onion
1/2 tsp. salt.

Mix all together and add to the chicken in a container.  Cover and refrigerate for 1-4 hours.  Grill chicken until tender, brushing with marinade at least once during cooking.

This Weekend:

* Friday morning the boys headed off on a little RV day trip with some friends...

While London went to Grandma Marilyn's for a girl cousin playdate...

{ stinking cute are they?!}
Which left me all alone to run errands and get the usual stuff done. I stopped at the Disney Store to pick up a birthday present...

I was seriously WAY too excited to see that the movie Ratatouille was FINALLY getting the recognition that it deserves.

SUCH a cute movie.
We've seen it close to 975 times, I'm sure of.
But it's sorta like Disney never gave it much publicity.
{Don't you think a Ratatouille themed restauarant at Disneyland would be PERFECT?!}

I grocery shopped...

And as much as I loathe grocery's always much better on a Friday than a Saturday...who's with me?

I managed to slip in a little Goodwill trip...

Isn't that the truth?!?

And then I met up with Joe and London for dinner at the New Mexican Grill on Friday night....

Their carne asada tacos are my FAVORITE!
{As are their chips and salsa.}

* Saturday I worked on a BUNCH of new items for my Etsy shop.  I'm SO excited to share them with you this week! {Need to take pics first}.

We dropped off some goodies to a friend on Saturday afternoon.

Crumbl cookies.
I can't even YOU GUYS!!!!

Their Biscoff Lava cookie might just be my new favorite!
It's a good thing I don't live within walking distance to this place!

*Saturday night we stayed in, grilled chicken and caught up on some Dateline episodes.
 {We really like to live on the edge over the weekends.}

* Churchey-church on Sunday.
In case I haven't told you lately....I am REALLY loving the new 2 hour time schedule.  It's pretty awesome.

* We went over to our dear friends' house on Sunday night for a little St. Patty's Day dinner.  I whipped up some butt rolls...

...and our friends grilled up the MOST delicious pork tenderloin with green mashed potatoes, rainbow salad and asparagus.  It was DEE-vine!!!!  Oh and did I mention, pazookies for dessert?  It was heavenly.
