Fun Finds Friday {Finally!}

Ohhhhhhh Target.
How I've missed you.

I feel like this post should probably be sponsored by Target... but it's not.

These are just allllll the things that I've found today that are SUPER cute that I wanna make sure my readers are aware of.

Can you believe it's been 6 weeks since I've even stepped foot inside of a Target? I know.  Crazy, huh?  I think that's like a world record or something for me.

Since my surgery I just haven't felt like doing too much until recently.  And even still...if I do do too much...I'm still pooped afterwards so I'm still trying to find my balance.

{Haha...I used the words do-do and pooped in the same sentence.  I may be almost 41 but I still have the brain of an 8 year old.}

Anyhoozle...you're here for the FINDS so let's get going!

Cuuuuuute glitzzed out Halloween trees and wreaths.
{I'm pretty sure 'glitzzed' isn't even a word but who cares, right?}

I don't think I will EVER get tired of stripes and plaids.
These will make great little dessert plates for Halloween parties.  And only $1!

LOTS of black succulents in pots {artificial of course} that could really spook up a shelf in your house.

Spooky not your thing?
I LOVE this bright orange pumpkin succulent!

You guys...is this not the cutest thing you'e ever seen?
AND ONLY $3!
I bought the green one.

Lottttssss and lots of pumpkins to choose from...

Wool, felt....

And my favorite!
Gingham and buffalo plaid...
FOR ONLY $1 each!!!!

So many cute canvas banners...

This one would be cute to hang during the month of November.

DARLING 2 liter soda bottle labels for Halloween!
$1 and SIX come in the package!
Score.

It's officially SOUP season...

Aren't these the cutest soup bowls EVER?
I think it would be fun to pair one of these up with a dry soup mix of some sort and give it to a friend!

Okay I wanted to buy like 10 of these but since they were $5 each I settled for one. {You're welcome, Joe.}

They're sorta like tin-ish and they have a little pre-lit votive inside of it.  My plan is to make some teeny-tiny bunting to go across the front of it and then change it out with each holiday as it sets on one of my shelves downstairs.

Cute, huh?

You guys, the fact that I even considered buying this shirt {because Cubby!} makes me question who I even am anymore and what I've even become.

{I didn't buy it}.

On the endcaps in the party section I found these darling paper plates.  And yes, I am sucker for paper plates.

I love these for TWO reasons.

1. Their colors
2. The big plate is OVAL which means it's BIG which means you could totally host a dinner with friends and use these!

{A lot of paper plates are just too dang small for a big meal!}

Let the BOO-ing season begin!
These are just cute little boxes that you could fill up with candy and leave on someone's doorstep.

Favor boxes!
Would be fun to fill with caramel corn or something and then tie it up with cellophane and ribbon.

And lastly, why do I love these SO VERY much?
I wanna buy em so bad, aren't they fun?

2fer Tuesday.

 2 FUN FINDS AT COSTCO:

I walked past this today at Costco {yes, I've been there now twice in one week...heaven help me!} and I thought 'ooh this would be fun for the kids for Christmas!'  Then I thought...'ummm, no....this would be fun for ME for Christmas!'

Right? Talk about a major BLAST from the PAST!

My boys are sadly out of the TOYS stage of life but this is a screaming deal right now if you have littles and want to start your Christmas shopping early!

2 NEW THINGS TO TRY:

This just happened to be on major mark down at my local grocery store last week {Fry's} and so I thought I'd give it a try.

It's SOOOOOO yummy.

I had some today with Triscuit crackers.
They'd be good with veggies too and even on a sandwich in place of mayo!

They have all different flavors.

Ok remember how I was OBSESSED with the limited time only Stroopwafel McFlurry at McDonald's not too long ago? {Seriously.  Why did they take them away???😞}

I'm thinking of snatching these up {from Costco} and making my OWN McFlurry's now at home in the blender.  Probs wouldn't be as good but would still do the trick!

Has anyone ever bought these?
They were in the Christmas section.

Lastly.....my friend posted this on FB yesterday and I absolutely love it!!!

This Weekend:

* Friday morning I spent with my dad.

My mom just recently had surgery so I've been filling in on errands and such for her while she's laid up 😉

I must REALLY love my dad because I even took him to Costco.  ON A FRIDAY! {Barf!}

* Friday afternoon snacks at the Circle K....

Seriously...what would we do without this place so close to our house?
{Save money? You're RIGHT!😂}

* Friday night the boys went to a football game {honestly...how do I have a highschooler old enough to do these things now?} and London and I went back over to my parent's house to take my dad for a little dip in the pool.

So refreshing.
Even if I didn't put my head under water this time 😅

* Our Saturday was spent running kids back and forth and grocery shopping.  {Another thing I loathe doing on the weekends....why must my family always have to eat? 😂}

I worked on some fun custom ornaments for my Etsy shop...

And then Saturday night I took the boys and their friend out on a date.

In and Out for dinner {their pick, not mine}

And no...all of those fries weren't just for Grant...

And then we went to a hip hop musical that their hip hop instructor helped produce and choregraph and it was PHENOMENAL! It was called SHOUT! and all of the songs were remixed Motown songs.  SO FUN!

* Churchey-church on Sunday.

Roast beef and butt rolls for Sunday dinner.

Doesn't get much better than that!
{I like big butts and I cannot lie....}

2fer Tuesday.

2 MUST TRY ITEMS:

Image
My SIL brought us dinner in when I was laid up a few weeks ago and she brought these yummy taco platters from Sprouts!

I had no idea Sprouts even sold these.

All you have to do is heat up the chicken and tortillas and you're good to go.  They were SUPER yummy!!!

For dessert she also brought us...

The yummiest ice-cream EVER!
I mean, we all know Tillamook is the best but I had never ever tried this flavor before and it was SOOOO good!

2 PUMPKIN RECIPES TO TRY:

Yup, whether you like it or not...it's that time of year again.

The best pumpkin bars EVER from

{I make them EVERY year!}

This Weekend:

* Friday morning I ran a couple of quick errands before I got too tuckered out.

I'm 4 weeks out past my surgery this week and I still don't have my energy back to normal yet.  It's a tad frustrating but I guess it's to be expected.

I've learned that if I do something during the day, I come home and hang out on my couch afterwards.

* Afterschool, London and her friend had a lemonade stand.

It was way too hot.

* Friday night I helped celebrate my sweet friend Chanda for her birthday.

We had dinner at Tia Rosa's...

Their Diet Coke + chips and salsa are some of my very favorite!

* Saturday morning London had a dance convention bright and early to be to.  She wanted a 'fancy' hairstyle for it and this was as fancy as I could get at 6 am.

When she was done with her session, I dropped the boys off for their session...

Waiting for the teen hip hop class to begin
And the girls and I went to lunch at Oregano's!

The pazookie was slightly burnt but we still managed to polish it off just fine.😜

* Saturday night was spent working on some custom orders from my Etsy shop.

These doggie ornaments just make me HAPPY!

* Sunday I stayed home from church.
Saturday did me in.

We made chicken tacos and homemade refried beans for dinner {a family favorite}...

...and had my nephew and sister over for dinner.
