My Patriotic Summer Decor.

Tomorrow is the LAST day of school for my kiddos.
Summer officially begins at 3:05 PM.
We are excited.  VERY excited.

Over the weekend I swapped out all of my SPRING decor for my SUMMER decor which includes all things PATRIOTIC.

I love decorating with patriotic decor because I can leave it up from Memorial Day clear til Labor Day.

Here are a few peeks from around our house right now:

Kitchen centerpiece.
Super Simple.
You can never have too many white daisies on hand.
Table runner from TJ MAXX.

Stuck my Fun little Find from the $ bins at Target right underneath our TV. {$3. And I had to dig for it!}

LOVING this fun bunting too!

Printables are such an EASY way to decorate.
Check out my Patriotic board on Pinterest for more!

This little spot on my front porch might just be my VERY favorite thing about my house.
Especially when our flag is up!

Fun sign from Hobby Lobby.
{Shocking, I know.}

Happy {almost} Summer!

Patriotic Decor ala Coombs.

As stated yesterday, I can't NOT decorate for a holiday.
{I just don't have it in me}.
And I must be rubbing off on my kids because as soon as one holiday is over, they're asking about the next.
I love it.

Right now we've got spurts of RED WHITE & BLUE all throughout our house.  I LOVE decorating with patriotic decor because it can go up before Memorial Day and then stay up clear until Labor Day.

Here's a peek at some of my favorite spots:

Striped candles from Ikea

Love this chevron canvas sign I found at Hobby Lobby.

Framed printable FREE at Diary of Dave's Wife

Framed printable FREE via The 36th Avenue

Patriotic Pinwheels via the $ bins at Target {last year}.

I made this wreath at the beginning of the season and it hangs on my front door.

Patriotic Decor + Place Setting Ideas.

How on earth is it already the MIDDLE of MAY?

Memorial Day is just another week away and then before we know it...we'll be celebrating the 4th of July!

I know I say this ALL the time but...
Time really does need to S-L-O-W down.
Who's with me?

I've begun putting out my patriotic decor for the summer.
I love that this stays up clear thru Labor Day.

Need some inspiration?

Here are some of my favorite ideas from around the web:

LOVE these painted jars from Maison de Pax.
They'd make any coffee or kitchen table look cute!

The people from The Scrap Shoppe spray painted white doilies to get this look but I'm almost positive that if you searched on Amazon, you could find already colored doilies.

These water bottles from Better Homes & Gardens are pure genius.  All you need is a plan 'ole water bottle and one of those small flags that you can find just about anywhere right now.  Tape the flag around your waterbottle and you have the cutest labels ever!

I'm inviting some peeps over for Memorial Day and I'm thinking I may just have to try out these Firecracker Jell-O Cups from Cincy Shopper.

Don't they look yummy? And festive?

Do you obsess over decorating tables?
Here are a couple of my tablescapes from years past....

Patriotic Party Ideas.

I'm still trying to wrap my brain around the fact that the 4th of July is ALMOST here!
What the WHaT?!?
Where does the time go?

So many cute ideas around the web-O-sphere if you're planning a Patriotic party of your own.
{Follow me on Pinterest HERE.}

Better Homes and Gardens
These water bottles are about the cutest most clever things I've seen.  They're decorated with regular U.S. flags that you can find in the $ bins at Target right now.  Just secure with tape or glue dots.  Plastic flags would work as well!

The Creative Itch
Oh how I LOVE me some doilies.
Bunting MADE with doilies is EVEN better.
{They're spray painted red and royal blue. Cle---ver!

Teresa Health Food Blog
Need a quick and easy dessert/snack for your party?
All you need is:
 White chocolate covered pretzels + Strawberries + Blueberries. That's it!
Lisa Storms
Wouldn't these ring pops make darling place settings?
Or plastic utensil holders?

Every Memorial Day {with the exception of this year} we host a bbq with our family.  It's always a lot of fun and I have such a great time preparing for it.

Coombs Memorial Day Bash 2011

This is quite possibly the EASIEST way to red+white&blue your dessert up!

Ice-cream sandwiches + sprinkles.

Coombs Memorial Bash 2012

And a couple of easy ideas for place settings, using paper plates...

Patriotic - Summer Wreaths!

The past couple of days, I've had my Justin Timberlake Pandora station cranked up while I've been cranking out my Patriotic wreaths for the summertime.

The thing I love MOST about these, is that you can leave them on your front door, ALL summer long. In fact, I usually start decorating my house with patriotic decor right after Easter, then comes Memorial Day, 4th of July and then I usually get around to taking it down just after Labor Day.

There are 3 different options to choose from:

All wreaths are $45 and can be shipped for an additional charge to anywhere within the U.S.
Feel free to comment or message me {please include your return email address} to place an order.

{Ok...I don't know if that's entirely true
but I like the thought of it!}

Fun Finds Friday.

* I pretty much NEED this donut raft to get me thru the summer {from Target}.

And finally! FINALLY! Target has freshened up their $ bins with some fun new patriotic decor.

These cute wooden trays would be cute on a coffee table or carrying lemonade glasses.

LOVE this canvas tote bag!

You know I'm a sucker for burlap bunting, right?

Fill these jars up with ANY type of candy and you have yourself the perfect little summertime treat to handout.

Over at Wal-mart....

Donut plates.
{If I had a plate for everytime I ate a donut....}

Pizza plates.
Perfect for your next pizza party!

LOVE these burlap looking paper plates too! Only $2.47.

Over at Costco I spotted...

...the perfect little patriotic girls tutu!

And this sign is pretty much my life.
{Not sure where I spotted it though}.

Happy Weekend-ing!

Fun Finds Friday.

It's been awhile since my last FFF, no?
Happy to be back at it and not have as many busy things going on in my life this week.

How much do you LOVE that white bowl?
I feel like I need it for every single salad I make in the future.

Kinda pricey at $34.99 so use your coupon.

Also there...

All of their PATRIOTIC stuff is out right now and it's making me super excited for summer!
{Although I'm dreading the 110 + heat}.

I LOVE patriotic decor because I can leave it up from Memorial Day all the way til Labor Day.

Hob Lob has also started carrying a really super adorable baby line. LOVE-ing these little nightys for newborns.
{My kids all lived in these til they were about 6 months old.}

 Over at the Targ....

...they've started selling wooden craft supplies!
How cool is that?!?

They also have a super adorable LEGO party line if you have little ones wanting a LEGO party anytime soon.

Couldn't pass up these cute little tumbler cups.
They're in the $ bins and London LOVES her's.

Thank goodness for Pandora.
I've discovered so many gems on my stations.

Lennon and Maisy.
Get to know them STAT!

Google em, Youtube em...whatever you have you to do.

They give me goosebumps when they sing
and their cover of Boom Clap HERE is unbelieveable.

Plus...they are stinkin' adorable.

My last Fun Find this Friday involves......BUTT ROLLS.

They're our family's new fave way of doing rolls.
{Because wouldn't you like to bite into a big ole buttery butt?}
I kid...I kid.

All you have to do is purchase a package of Rhodes frozen rolls.  Grease a muffin tin and then put TWO rolls to one muffin cup opening.  Cover with saran wrap and let rise, then back according to package.
