This Weekend:

* Friday morning I stopped by my favorite local bakery.
I needed to drop off some goodies to a friend and let me tell you....

Their orange rolls are where it's at!
If you are local - - you have GOT to check this place out.
Their sweet treats are worth every last calorie. Promise.

Random: Does anyone else's back part of their mini van look like this? {Everyday?} And does anyone else's kids purposely leave their shoes in your car? All.  The.  Time???

* Friday night was family night out for chinese food.

Egg drop soup with crunchy noodles has my heart always and forever.

This photo was taken .52 seconds before I firmly told my kids that 'this is why dad and I go on dates alone.'

True story.

* Grant had a basketball game Friday night.
We won! and Grant shot his first 3 pointer of the season!

How lucky are we to have both sets of grandparents {+ ALL aunts and uncles} live nearby?! So fun to have Grandparents Lamoreaux + Grandparents Coombs + Aunt Tori come and cheer Grant on. I think they were his lucky charms.

* Saturday morning was spent in my craft room....working on Etsy orders. If you could see my work space you would die.  SO messy.  So very very messy.

* Saturday afternoon London and I dressed ourselves up and headed to the Nutcracker ballet - it's my favorite tradition of the entire season.

I had Grant snap a quick pic before we left and to my surprise - - he got one that I actually like! Unintended, even!  Because lets be honest....I have about 20 more that look something like this...

We met up with some of our dearest friends there and gosh, it was fun.  The Nutcracker truly is a magical little show.

Dinner with the gang afterwards HERE - a Chandler staple.

* Sunday morning we busted out the Christmas books.

We gave this one to the kids last year and oh my gosh - - if you are local to AZ - - it is a must! So cute and surprisingly VERY informative!

Cars had a cough so he and I stayed home from church which meant I spent a good couple of hours addressing our Christmas cards.

I think I may be the only one on the planet who actually ENJOYS this process! I hand write all of the addresses and it always makes me count my blessings again and again as I write out each name. So grateful for so many wonderful people in our lives - - past and present.

* We headed over to my parents house for dinner.
Sunday dinners at my mom and dad's house always taste better than my own.

My mom gathered the kids around and shared with them a new book she purchased.

You guys!
This book is darling and is all about service.
There's a fun little activity to do with your kids throughout the season and I'm absolutely in love with the whole idea.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

On tap for this week:

* Mesa Temple Christmas Lights with fun friends

* Our annual holiday hayride up at our school

* Helping the homeless

* Grant's championship basketball game

* More orders, more crafting and more Christmas fun!

I LOVE this time of year.

December Visiting Teaching Handouts.

Happy Happy December!
Our tree is decked, our lights are hung and it's FINALLY cold enough to feel like Christmas here in Arizona. {And by 'cold' I mean....60 degrees. Seriously....I'm freezing!}

This month's Visiting Teaching message is:

I was giddy with excitement when I read that this message includes excerpts from one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE General Conference talks:

{Remember my recent Stake Womens Conference? It was based off of that talk.  That's just how much I LOVE it.} handouts {I have 3 this month!} all come from that specific talk. And there's a few different ways you can use them.

#1: Attach a PEACE ornament with this tag that focues on PEACE at home.

#2: Attach a HOME ornament to this CHRIST-CENTERED HOME tag.

#3: Use either of the above tags WITH my hot chocolate tag.
Because who doesn't LOVE hot chocolate this time of year?

Other ideas:

* Attach the Christ-Centered Home tag to a
gingerbread house

* Print out the General Conference talk mentioned above and/or the Visiting Teaching message, roll it up and tie with ribbon and attach a coordinating ornament.

Swiss Miss hot chocolate packets were $1 at Target.

This cute little Christmas Home ornament was $1.97 at Wal-mart.

And this tin PEACE ornament was $2 at Hobby Lobby.

SO many things you can do with these tags.
There's NO excuse for you not to do your Visiting Teaching this month 😛 If anything....just drop this off and let your sisters know that you're thinking about them.

Christmas Neighbor Gift Ideas.

Usually I have our 'family neighbor gifts' all ready to hand out on the first Monday of December.

Life just doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon for us and so I am seriously behind with all of this fun stuff.

I cannot WAIT to share with you though what I have up my sleeve for this year.

{For Christmas...I want MORE time in the day and 24 hours of constant energy.
Wouldn't that be nice?😛}

Today I'm sharing 2 of my very favorite ideas from years past.

These are both SUPER easy, SUPER tasty and....
I'm offering the tags that can be personalized with your family name on them in my Etsy shop as a DIGITAL FILE!

Who doesn't LOVE salsa?!?

And here's a little secret that made this literally the EASIEST neighbor gifts EVER - - - - - I BOUGHT the salsa and then put em in the jars to MAKE it look like it was homemade ;)

Of course I told everyone my secret....if they asked!

{Local Peeps: they sell the El Sol salsa in the refrigerated section of Costco and it is hands down THE BEST!}

To purchase these tags go HERE.
Once they are emailed to you - you can print them off however many times you need!

Last year we passed out homemade cinnamon honey butter...

Mmmmmm....this stuff is soooo yummy on fresh rolls or your morning toast.

You can purchase my tags HERE and again - they can be personalized for your family.

And just because....
I'm sharing this recipe.
It's too good not to.

Marci Coombs'
Honey Cinnamon Butter

1 pound butter, softened
1/4 cup honey
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Beat all together for about 5 minutes until well blended.
